The SIMHS's requirements for professional staff are as follows:

Psychiatrist:	M.D., licensed in New York State and board certified/eligible
Psychologist:	Ph.D. or Psy.D., licensed in New York State or eligible
Social Worker:	M.S.W., licensed in New York State
Speech/Language Pathologist:	licensed in New York State
Preschool Special Education Teacher:	Master's degree and preschool certification
